Can I return my books after the library is closed?

All library materials may be returned in book drop receptacles located on the front wall at each library branch.

How many items can I check out?

Library users may have up to 5 items checked out at any time.

How many times can I renew my materials?

Two fourteen (14) day renewals of items with standard loan periods are permitted, if the item is not reserved for another library user. DVDs have one two (2) day renewal period. There are not renewals on items with holds or ILL items. Items may be renewed in either of our branches, or by calling either branch.

How long can I check an item out?

The majority of items within the library’s collection may be borrowed for fourteen (14) days. DVDs may be borrowed for two (2) days. Due dates are changed daily.

If you don’t have a book I want, can you get it?

Books not owned by our library system, photocopies of magazine articles, and information on a particular subject may be requested through the interlibrary loan service (ILL).

How much are overdue fines?

Overdue Materials:
10¢ per day, per item for all library materials (maximum of $2.00 per item)

There is no “per patron” maximum.
