Friends of Bond Memorial Library

Friends of the Library are a wonderful support organization for libraries.  Their goal is to support libraries by raising money for them and through advocacy. The Friends of Bond Memorial Library meet the first Tuesday each month September through May, taking the summer off.  The Friends have completed several projects for Bond Memorial library through out the years.  More recently the Friends purchased flooring tile and cabinets for the Poff Meeting Room, purchased a big screen television for Bond Memorial and sponsored several programs.  The Friends most recent project was purchasing t-shirts and books for the children attending the summer library programs in both libraries.

The Friends usually have two big fundraisers to raise money for the libraries; a Corky’s Boston Butt sale near Super Bowl weekend and a poinsettia sale during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season.
